The seminar addressed the concerns of whether negotiated risk agreements work in the assisted living setting and included the key contract principles necessary to ensure the best possible chance for agreement enforcement. A step-by-step approach to ensure enforceability and how to avoid the pitfalls of forming an unenforceable contract was presented.

Hurricane Katrina Relief

QPWB's Miami office joined forces with members of the South Florida legal community to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina by sponsoring an event at the Hyatt Regency with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross. Representing QPWB's Miami office was Litigation Managing Partner, George Quintairos; Founding Partner Edward Prieto; Jeffrey Creasman, Partner; Firm Administrator, Jonathan "Chad" Jones; staff members included Karin Libertino, Courtney Bright and Rebecca Whitt.

The firm has an office in Mississippi, which was impacted by Hurricane
Katrina.
