Deneen N. Carrier is an associate in the Orlando office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Her areas of practice include general civil litigation, medical malpractice, and long-term care defense.
Ms. Carrier earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations in 1996 from Florida A&M University. She received her Juris Doctorate in 2003 from Florida State University College of Law. She was committed to service to the community as well as her studies, serving as President of the Black Law Students Association, Vice President and Florida Bar Representative of the Student Bar Association. She was also a member of the Entertainment, Art, and Sports Law Society, Spanish-American Law Students Association, and the Dean's Kitchen Cabinet. Ms. Carrier became a Certified Legal Intern and worked at the State Attorney's Office, 2nd Judicial Circuit where she prosecuted criminal misdemeanor cases. During the Spring 2003 Commencement Ceremony, she was presented with the distinguished award of Outstanding Service to the Law School Community and subsequently honored as a member of the Seminoles Torchbearers.
Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Carrier joined the State Attorney's Office, 9th Judicial Circuit as an Assistant State Attorney where she served as a trial attorney, prosecuting numerous felony and misdemeanor cases. She worked with special emphasis in the area of domestic violence, working with law enforcement and victim advocates to assist victims and children of domestic violence. During her four and a half years with the State Attorney's Office, she prosecuted cases in both Orange and Osceola Counties.
Ms. Carrier is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and The Florida Bar. She is admitted to practice law in Florida.
