Sara J. Carter is an associate in the Jacksonville office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Carter concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury defense, premise liability, nursing home defense litigation, insurance coverage disputes, and maritime law.
Ms. Carter earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2000 from Florida State University with a major in Food and Nutrition Science with an emphasis in Dietetics, and minors in English and Business. In 2005, Ms. Carter received her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. While in law school, she was named to the Dean’s List; Ms. Carter was also selected as the Family Law teaching and research assistant to the Honorable Thomas Hornsby and the Contracts teaching assistant to Professor McFarland.
Prior to joining QPWB, Ms. Carter practiced law at Volpe, Bajalia, Wickes, Rogerson & Wachs, focusing in the areas of commercial litigation, insurance coverage, maritime law and personal injury. Prior to joining Volpe, Bajalia, Ms. Carter practiced in the areas of personal injury litigation and premise liability with Jay Howell & Associates, as well as with Anderson, Howell & Ravis, P.A.
Ms. Carter is a member of The Florida Bar and The Jacksonville Bar Association Young Lawyers Section. She is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
