Stephanie Ducheine is an associate in the Ft. Lauderdale office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. Ms. Ducheine's practice focuses on all aspects of civil litigation and general liability defense including premise liability, products liability defense, wrongful death, negligent security, insurance fraud, and commercial litigation.
Ms. Ducheine is a graduate of the University of Florida. In May 2003, she received a Dual Bachelors of Science summa cum laude in health science and rehabilitation counseling, with a minor in criminology. In May 2006, she was awarded her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law.
In the summer of 2004, during law school, Ms. Ducheine studied the South African judicial system and international human rights law at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. She also conducted an independent study on capital punishment and human rights. In 2005, she was awarded the Pro Se Clinic Book Award and Trial Practice Honors. Ms. Ducheine was a member of the Florida Blue Key, and was Honor Court Chancellor (2005-2006) and Chief Defense Counsel (2005) of the University of Florida Student Honor Court. In 2003, she was named Outstanding Female Senior Leader, and was inducted in the University of Florida's Hall of Fame.
Ms. Ducheine began her legal career at the Goldstein Law Group, P.A. where she practiced insurance defense including all aspects of automobile insurance fraud/SIU claims, personal injury defense and health care claims.
Ms. Ducheine is admitted to practice law in Florida and is a member of the Florida Bar's Section of Trial Lawyers, and the Young Lawyers Division. She is also a member of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, Haitian Lawyers Association, The Democratic Executive Committee of Broward County, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
