Kenneth W. MacCollom is an associate in the Tampa office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. his practice focuses on general liability, commercial litigation and complex civil litigation. Mr. MacCollom has extensive experience handling both, jury and non-jury trials involving personal injury, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, automobile negligence, premises liability, complex multi-party product liability, insurance defense, construction defects, toxic torts defense, and mold claims. To date, he has taken over 55 jury trials to verdict.
A 1986 graduate of the University of Vermont, Mr. MacCollom received his Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics, in 1995 earned his Juris Doctorate from Western New England College School of Law.
Mr. MacCollom began his legal career in 1996 as an Assistant State Attorney where he served as a prosecutor for the Pinellas County State Attorney’s office. He was a trial attorney from 1999 through 2002 with Brasfield, Fuller, Freeman, Lovell and O’Hern, P.A. in St. Petersburg, FL. Prior to joining the firm, he was Trial and Managing Attorney for the Clearwater office for the Law Offices of Douglas Polk, Jr., Nationwide Insurance Trial Division. In 1995, Mr. MacCollom was admitted to The Florida Bar. He is also a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association, the Manatee County Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
In his community, he serves as a youth flag football coach and youth soccer coach.
